CareerBuilder Returns to the Super Bowl

Thursday January 31, 2008
CareerBuilder is starting a brand new ad campaign during the second and third quarters of the Super Bowl. There are no chimps or jungle workplaces this time around. Instead, CareerBuilder aims to be seen as more than just a site with job listings. The ads are designed to motivate you to start building your career, and take charge of your job search and career goals.

You can see a sneak preview of the upcoming campaign on YouTube. It's interesting, because this campaign isn't just about television and online advertising. If you're in New York City or Chicago, you'll see ads on trains, streets, and buildings. CareerBuilder will sponsor "unhappy hours" for disgruntled workers in select cities. In addition, CareerBuilder will continue its mobile marketing tour, visiting over 40 cities as well as 140 college campuses.

Speaking of commercials, one of my favorites is Monster's new Perfect Jobs commercial, which shows a man with giant legs on his way to work, where he keeps the world spinning by riding a large bicycle. There's some more good commercial and recruiting videos that are worth a look. And if you come across any I should add to the collection, let me know.
