What To Do On LinkedIn

Saturday November 17, 2007
I've mentioned before that LinkedIn is one of my favorite places to connect. I've made lots of good connections via my LinkedIn Profile and, as well as being useful, it's been fun to get back in touch with former colleagues I'd lost track of. I've gotten insight from recruiters, recommended connections for jobs, and stayed in touch with people whose careers have bumped around more than a bit.

You can use LinkedIn as part of your job search to increase your visibility and connections, so employers and recruiters can find you. What else though? How do you use LinkedIn to it's full potential?

Jason Alba's book, I'm On LinkedIn -- Now What??? is designed to help you do exactly that. There's information on how to use it to connect with others, LinkedIn Groups, using LinkedIn for job searching, to build your career and create a network you can actually use, and for personal branding.
