How to Help Your Child Job Search

As a parent, you can play a helpful role in assisting your child search for jobs. However, even though it's well intentioned to try to help, sometimes your efforts can have a negative effect. Consider the impact the mom who showed up to "help" her daughter find a job at a career networking event and the parents who arrived in town to approve their son's job offer had on their child's potential employment - it wasn't positive, that's certain.

Here's how (and how not) to help your child (regardless of age) job search.
