Tony Snow and Loving Your Job
Loving your job is what I wish for all of us, or at least liking it a whole lot. We spend a good part of our lives working and it's important that your work be meaningful. The fraility of life also reminds me that it's important to make sure there's a balance between your work and your life, and to consider a change if your job isn't right for you.
I've quoted Bob Franke's lyrics here before, but they are worth repeating: "What can you do with your days but work and hope. Let your dreams bind your work to your play... the life that I live and the time I have spent are a treasure too precious to save."

please help me to find a job
Allison,
Great post. Having myself been in a job position once that was at best, terrible, your words of “at least” liking your job ring true.
There is no better time to have one’s ear to the ground and eyes on the horizon when it comes to career management.
Unfortunately, a bad job takes so much out of a person that they often have no time nor energy to get themselves to (and I steal from Happy Gilmore) that “Happy Place” in their career.
