Saturday March 3, 2007
Getting fired, unfortunately, can happen to the best of us. It can happen even when it's not your fault. There could be a personality conflict between yourself and your supervisor. Your idea of what the job was going to be like might differ from what management was thinking. You could have simply screwed up. It happens. You're not alone. In fact, it happens to a lot of people. Here's advice on how to handle a termination, when it happens to you.

(1) Fired says:

It happened to me on March 21. Only I went over my bosses head all because I wanted to learn more and my manager thought I should stay a ’stunted little flower” and I wanted to grow. So he turned the tables on me and had me fired. Only I felt it coming. So when I got pulled in the office I cried at him. He couldn’t even look me in the eye and say good-bye to me. I think he felt so guilty by then. I know I’ll find a better job and God is watching me. They still have my name up on the board, rumors are flying all over, but you know what, who cares. In a year from know i’m going to write my former boss a long letter and say what I really want to, because then they can’t touch me.

(please don’t use my name, or e-mail addres I don’t want to loose my severance or unemployment package)

thanks for letting me vent a lot.
