How to Tie a Tie

Studies have shown that most interviewers make their decision to hire a candidate within the first few seconds, even before the first interview question is asked. Given this knowledge, it is crucial that you make a successful first impression. Taking steps to make an impression that projects professionalism, ability, and capability will optimize your chances for success. That impression, if you're a male job seeker, includes a tie.

Since I don't have a clue about tying ties (and I'm thrilled I've never had to learn), Guest author, Geoff Dorn, who does knows a lot about ties, has taken the time to share his knowledge about how to tie a tie and dress for a successful job interview.
