Class '06 College Grad Jobs

I spent some time the other day chatting with seniors who are about to graduate from college. It was really interesting to hear what they wanted to do after graduation. Some were moving to New York City or Los Angeles to start a career in theater. One young woman was going to be a farrier, while a friend hoped to become an astronaut. Others were planning on taking some time off to travel or to investigate career or graduate school options. Still others were spending the summer volunteering or doing an internship.

For those who do know what they want to do, it's a good time to be job searching. The job market for grads excellent and job listings are plentiful. For those who aren't ready, remember your Career Services office will be there to help you whenever you are ready to start a college job search.
