Job Search Engine Competition Heats Up

Wednesday April 26, 2006
The competition between top job search engines Indeed, SimplyHired and Jobster has just gone up a notch, thanks to a $13.5 million strategic investment in SimplyHired by News Corporation’s Fox Interactive Media and venture capital firm Foundation Capital.

If you're not using a job search engine (or two) to expedite your job search, they are well worth incorporating into the list of sites you check for new listings. They don't always generate the same results, so use all the top job search engines on a daily basis to find new job postings. Also, don't forget to set up job search agents, so you are notified about new job postings by email as soon as they are listed.
