Online Job Ads Reach New High

Tuesday April 18, 2006
New online job ads rose sharply in March according to The Conference Board, a leading business membership and research organization. There were 2,401,200 job ads, which is the highest number since the Conference Board started tracking online job postings. Denver, San Diego, San Francisco, Boston, and Washington, D.C. all had a high (over 3 jobs per 100 people) number of new job postings.

Now's a good time to be job searching, if you're seeking a new job or a career change. Be sure to check all the sites that list jobs, including the niche job sites, as well as the major job banks, so can find a good selection of jobs to apply for. If you're in a hurry, use the job search engines to find job listings fast.
