How to Find a Job

A mom who was helping her son find his first job emailed me asking for advice. She wasn't sure how he could write a resume when he didn't have any work experience and she wasn't sure where he could look for employment. There are ways to write a first resume that is appealing to employers even when you don't have a lot to put on it, as well as ways to get started on a job search when you haven't worked before.

For job seekers who have experience, it never hurts to review all the steps you need to cover to job search successfully. In fact, there's a school of thought that says you should start from scratch every time you seek employment.
