Internet Primary Hiring Source for Employers

Sunday February 12, 2006
DirectEmployers Association announced the results of a study of hiring practices at leading U.S. companies which showed that Internet sources produced 51% of all hires in 2005. The largest source of hires was the employers' own corporate web sites, followed by general job boards, niche job sites, and social networking sites.

This is good news for job seekers, because it means that more employers are hiring online applicants than in the past. It also shows that it's important to check company web sites for job listings, as well as the job banks and niche job sites.

Unemployed, those in career transition and graduating seniors are just several of the people JobSerf.com is targeting to help search for their first job. What discriminates JobSerf.com from other job search services is that they actually have people searching for and then applying to positions on your behalf. This allows the job seeker to focus on networking, work, prepping for interviews, family or classes.

Graduating seniors and their parents should consider the tuition costs for four or five years when considering JobSerf.com.

Jobserf.com believes the initial investment is one of the most solid investments a parent or student will make in the senior’s future.
