Job Search Networking

Friday January 20, 2006
I've mentioned how networking can help with your job search, but, I wanted to share another success story which shows how it can really make a difference. Besides helping you get you get referred for job openings, networking can also help you find out about positions that you didn't even know were available.

As one job seeker, who just got a great job offer, mentioned to a contact who had helped: "Without the information you gave me and your forwarding of my resume to the appropriate people I never would have known about the position. " That's why it's important to mention to everyone you know that you're seeking employment. You never know who might know about a job opening and who can help you find that perfect job!
