To achieve career success, it's really important to be prepared to job search at any time. Update your resume every time you change jobs, learn a new skill, or take a class. That way, you're prepared, in advance, for any eventuality. You could get unexpectedly laid-off or a recruiter could contact you about a job that sounds like it's absolutely perfect. In either case, you will want to be ready to get going. Here's how to get (and stay) ready to job search and how to find a job.

There are also some things that it's important not to do when looking for work. Review everything you shouldn't do when job searching, as well as everything you should be doing. That way you can avoiding making mistakes that will hinder your job search.
