Thanksgiving Eve

By November 24, 2005

Follow me on:

Listening to a Thanksgiving afternoon folk music show on my local public radio station, I was struck by the relevancy of the lyrics of Bob Franke's Thanksgiving Eve to what we do with our work and to what we do with our lives: " What can you do with your days but work and hope. Let your dreams bind your work to your play." If at all possible, it is important to follow our dreams, because, as the song continues "... the life that I live and the time I have spent are a treasure too precious to save." That's a good thought for Thanksgiving - and for life.
