David Teten and Scott Allen (About.com's Entrepeneurs Guide) discuss jobblogging in a Fast Company article. They mention an interesting example of how "Heather Hamilton, a senior recruiter for marketing talent at Microsoft, recently performed an unusual recruiting experiment. As creator of the Marketing and Finance at Microsoft Blog, Heather asked her readers to link to a post on her blog from their blog resumes, and committed that she would check out her reader's resumes by reviewing her blog's referral logs." Which is a new twist on corporate recruiting. The article also contains some do's and don'ts that are worth a read if you're blogging and job seeking. Here's more information on how blogging can impact your job search.

Has blogging made a difference, for better or for worse, in your job search? Do you think it could help? If you have information to share, you'll see a link for "comments" just below this post that will allow you to immediately post your thoughts.
