Getting Fired

SimplyFired has announced the winner of their August contest. The grand prize “loser” award went to Jim Garrison, a software developer who was fired for eating pizza left behind from a company meeting. According the data collected in the contest, the top reasons for getting fired include inappropriate behavior, office politics, job performance or attendance, bad luck or medical reasons. The contest was so sucessful that SimplyFired is doing it again this month. Share your story about how you were fired or laid off and you may win a prize.
