How to Succeed in a Behavioral Interview

Behavioral interviewing is used to determine whether you have used particular behavioral traits or characteristics on the job. Since prior success predicts future success, hiring managers like to hear stories from job searchers that demonstrate the use of a behavioral trait the employer has determined he needs. As an example, people hiring sales representatives often seek candidates that have:

high energy, are self-directed, focused, able to effectively network, and who want to make a lot of money. The job candidate who can most successfully demonstrate these behavioral characteristics by telling about prior experiences in the interview is most likely to get the job. Want to ace your interview?
